One can see the history of human-computer interaction as gradual cross-training between the two:
1. Humans (originally good at complex tasks requiring advanced pattern-recognition, learning and creativity) are training computers to creatively solve increasingly more complex and ill-defined problems, while learning from their own experience.
2. Computers (originally good at simple repetitive stuff) are training humans to quickly solve simple repetitive problems and (most importantly!) be happy about it.
Not sure how this makes us feel.
